64 Essex Road: Change of Use to Nursery

This project comprised the renovation and expansion of an end-of-terrace domestic property in order for it to meet high standards in terms of safety, comfort and privacy and allow it to provide additional services including meals and laundry. The side and rear of the property were extended to create additional floorspace, and a habitable basement was formed to provide staff facilities. Prior to the change of use, the ground floor was classed as a shop (A1) and first floor as a dwelling house (C3). The building is now a nursery and is classed as D1 (Non Residential Institution.)
